Make your own hummus / by Shelby Stewart

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ... hummus. 
Hummus is arguably our favorite raw snack. Make it at the beginning of the week & store it in the fridge for munching throughout the day. It's packed with protein and fiber which can help to balance out your digestive system to keep you happy & healthy.  Here is our favorite recipie for you to try out:


- 2 cups of canned chickpeas, drained -  *Save the chickpea water* 
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- 1.5 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp chickpea water!  More if you prefer a thinner texture
- 1 tbsp + 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1 tsp salt

Put all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
